Bikroy Introduces WhatsApp Chat Option

Buying and Selling Now Easier and Faster

Bikroy, Bangladesh’s largest and most trusted online marketplace, has introduced a new feature to enhance user convenience. From now on, buyers can directly message sellers via WhatsApp from the ad details page. This feature is available on both the Bikroy website and mobile app.

With the addition of WhatsApp, it has now become the third communication channel on Bikroy, alongside phone calls and in-app chat. By clicking the WhatsApp button below an ad, users can initiate a chat with a pre-filled message that includes the ad link and relevant information. This will make the buyer-seller interactions faster, easier, and more effective.

WhatsApp is one of the most widely used and popular messaging platforms in Bangladesh. With this integration, sellers can now expect to receive more direct messages from genuinely interested buyers, helping them sell their products faster and more efficiently.

No additional setup is required for sellers to use this feature. The first mobile number listed in the ad will automatically be used for WhatsApp communication.

Commenting on the launch, Md. Arifin Hossain, Head of Marketing at Bikroy, said, “We always strive to introduce technology-driven, timely, and user-friendly solutions for our users. WhatsApp integration is a significant addition to our platform. It’s not just a feature for buyers; this is a big opportunity for sellers, too. They will now be able to engage with more serious buyers directly, which will not only increase the chances of successful sales but also ensure more effective and direct communication between both parties.”

Bikroy continues to work toward making the buying and selling process simpler, smarter, and more affordable for everyone. The launch of this WhatsApp feature is another example of that commitment, strengthening buyer-seller connections through a faster and more user-friendly experience.
