Bikroy, a leading online platform for livestock trading in Bangladesh, hosted the winners’ announcement ceremony for its flagship Qurbani campaign, “Bikroy Birat Haat Powered by Minister,” on July 15, 2024, at Bikroy’s headquarter. The campaign was sponsored by Minister Hi-Tech Park Ltd. as the title sponsor.
Key representatives from both organizations attended the event. From Bikroy, Md Arifin Hussain, Head of Marketing, and Samiur Rahman Sami, Assistant Director of Business Development, and Md. Wasir Farhad Zaman, Manager of Member Relations, were present. Minister Hi-Tech Park Ltd. was represented by K.M.G. Kibria, Head of Brand & Communication, and Shahriar Ahmed, Assistant Manager, among others.
This year, Bikroy introduced two engaging contests for its users and members. Participants in the buyer contest were asked to create videos using the theme song for Birat Haat 2024 (#BiratHaat2024) and share them on Facebook, TikTok, or YouTube, using the hashtag #BiratHaat2024. The video links were then submitted to the Bikroy blog. From the most entertaining and creative submissions, 13 winners were chosen.
The top 3 winners of the buyer contest were Rakib Hasan, Md. Rajib Hassan, and Ariful Islam. In the members’ contest, three participants were selected based on the highest views and responses on their ads. The winners were Humayun Kabir, owner of Kabir Car Collection; Md. Hafizur, owner of BDProperty.com; and Haji Anwar Hossain, owner of Mony Dairy Farm. The winners from both contests were awarded exciting prizes such as refrigerators and LED TVs, provided by Minister Hi-Tech Park Ltd.
Eshita Sharmin, CEO of Bikroy, expressed her gratitude, saying, “As always, we received an overwhelming response from our valued customers and members for the Birat Haat (#BiratHaat2024) campaign. We are delighted by the participation and enthusiasm. This contest was organized to spread joy during Eid. This year, around 120 members advertised their farm animals, and approximately 3,500 animals were sold through Bikroy during the Qurbani season. I hope customers enjoyed celebrating Eid-ul-Adha by purchasing their favorite animals from Bikroy, and that sellers had success selling their livestock.”
